Tuff Dog Tele Reproduction

This is a reproduction of Merle Haggard’s signature custom Tele. This guitar has a set neck which is highly figured curly maple in an amber finish. All the hardware is gold & is good quality parts and electronics. It has a 3-way selector switch, ivoroid pickguard and binding and a 5A quilted maple top. There is a 5A figured curly maple center block in the middle of the body (back) that the set neck joins into. The headstock has Merle Haggard’s signature and the Tuff Dog Inlay. The gold tuners have pearloid tuner buttons. The maple fingerboard is also highly figured curly maple in a vintage amber finish with abalone position markers. This is an extraordinary guitar and was one of the most expensive Custom Shop Tele’s ever made by Fender. These guitars are rare and hard to find and are very much sought after. This is a very nice quality reproduction of the Fender Tuff Dog Tele at a very attractive price.
