Legend P/J Bass

Legend P/J Quilt top Bass. The Precision/Jazz pick-up configuration is well known for combining the sounds of a Precision and Jazz bass into one bass guitar and giving the player the best of both renowned guitars. The top on this bass is a 5A quilt top ( it doesn’t come any better than this). The body is basswood with a bookmatched 5A quilt top and overall, is reasonably lightweight. The finish is a vintage tobacco/amber burst in a catalyzed lacquer finish. The rear control cavity is totally copper shielded and grounded to keep the bass quiet. There are 3 control knobs: two volume and one tone. Each volume control adjusts the volume for one pickup each and the tone control adjusts the tone for both sets of pickups. These pickups are much better than stock and are very responsive. The neck is 34″ scale and has a 12″ radius rosewood fingerboard. The neck has an adjustable truss rod at the headstock end of the neck . The bridge and tuners are made by Gotoh and are good quality. This is an excellent punchy-sounding bass and has lots of vintage sounds and versatility.
